素材がもつ独自の風合や特性を活かした靴作り・ものづくりを大切にしています。
パターンはなるべく切替を減らし、足あたりの良さと革の表情を魅せることに心掛けています。
Portaille ... Portail(門)+Taille(彫刻) 仏語で「門」という意味をもつʻPortail’と「彫刻」という意味をもつʻTaille’を組み合わせた造語。 デザイナーが最も憧れる、彫刻家ロダンの作品「地獄の門」からインスピレーションを受けて名付けました。
